Looks like you scored big yesterday, Win. I got a sweet package in the mail yesterday too: my DVD of Coffy, starring the incomparable Pam Grier. Incidentally, I didn't know Ki-Gor was related to Doc and his daughter. Oh, and I've said this before, but it bears repeating: I am so freaking stoked for your collaboration with Phil. :)
I don't think anyone has done Ki-Gor's Wold Newton Family genealogy; I haven't although I should. So I guess may statement was a little loose... more akin to Phil Farmer's statements about Shell Scott and a few others, to the effect that he thought they were in the Family but would do their precise genealogy some other time. Ki-Gor is definitely in the Wold Newton Universe, though. ;-)
Thanks again for the kind words about the book. :-)
I love getting mail on days like that!

Mike, indeed! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat smaller image of "High Adventure" makes it look like one of the stories is about "The Golden Clams of Raa"! Might be a recipe column.....
