Am lucky and have the whole series, tho not a big Phantom fan.
Someone unloaded the whole set at a local used bookstore (now sadly defunct), and was able to snap up the whole set at a decent price. I only read the first one, but still have them squirled away in my pulp/paperback collection.
Hey Win: I have most of these too, and have always been curious... Do you know who wrote them?
In other news: I assume you have all the copies of The Adventure of the Peerless Peer you need, but I'm currently having a contest to give one away. Alternate prizes are available to the winner.
Wikipedia has a list of who wrote which of the novels: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Phantom
Actually, I'm looking for a copy of the Peerless Peer. I found the mass market paperback in a used book store many years ago, then was horrified to find the middle section of pages missing. I have never been able to find a complete copy since.

emb021: PEERLESS PEER was reprinted in its entirely in the 2008 Subterranean Press collection VENUS ON THE HALF-SHELL AND OTHERS.
ReplyDeleteEvan: Cool! Yes, I have all the copies I need, but I will drop by and take a look.
Thanks for the link, emb! I'm surprised to see Falk actually wrote a few. I'll be reading those first.
