I enjoyed the Tarzan/Predator series as well. I also thought that this one, Tarzan/Batman was one of the better team-ups DC and Dark Horse produced. It had a real pulp atmosphere to it and I thought it captured both the Shadow like aspects of the 1930s Batman and the Lost City style adventures of Tarzan. As a fan of both characters, I was pleased with the portrayals of both and that's a rarity in a crossover of this type.
I'm not a fan of the Predator films, but one of my favorite Tarzan comics from Dark Horse was their "Tarzan versus Predator at the Earth's Core."
ReplyDeleteAgreed on all counts!

ReplyDeleteQuite possibly my favorite crossover between a "super"hero and a WNF member, and lushly illustrated at that. :)
ReplyDeleteCharles, Sean, you are right, across the board. One of the best.
