Synchronicity - I was just thinking this will be perfect for a friend's b'day next year, as he's reading all of the original Baum books now. I'm hoping he doesn't take pastiches into consideration before then.
The idea came to me as I wrote about the death of President Harding in connection to the show 'Sanctuary'. That section in this book is the main sequence I remember.....
