The Wild Huntsman

In November 1795, after undergoing a
harrowing adventure in France, Sir Percy Blakeney—The Scarlet Pimpernel—decided
to call a Conclave of some of the most remarkable people of his time to plan
how to influence the political and revolutionary climate sweeping across
Europe. These extraordinary people, many of them heroes in their own right,
were the ancestors of a group of mutant supermen who have played a large role
in our affairs—Sherlock Holmes, Doc Wildman, Captain Nemo, and the lord of the
jungle, among many others.
It is December 13, 1795. The ionized

Huntsman” is a 12,000-word novelette by Wold Newton expert Win Scott Eckert. A
sequel to Eckert’s tale “Is He in Hell?” (The Worlds of Philip José Farmer 1: Protean Dimensions), “The Wild
Huntsman” will see publication in Meteor House’s The Worlds of Philip José Farmer 3: Portraits of a Trickster
(2012).

I am hard at work on my next Wold Newton Origins tale for this volume (which will hopefully contain some surprises for all Wold Newton fans), and striving hard to deliver it so that Worlds of PJF 3 is out and available for FarmerCon VII/PulpFest 2012, in early August!

THE GREEN HORNET: STILL AT LARGE - Contents Announced!
I'm pleased to announce the final contents for The Green Hornet: Still at Large, due out from Moonstone Books in July 2012.
Edited by Joe Gentile, Win Scott Eckert, and Matthew Baugh, this third anthology featuring the 1960s Green Hornet, based on the television program starring Van Williams and Bruce Lee, follows The Green Hornet Chronicles and The Green Hornet Casefiles, and will ship in two editions.
The softcover trade paperback features a cover by Douglas Klauba, while the limited edition hardcover boasts a cover by Ruben Procopio. It is anticipated that as with the prior books, the third volume will also see an eBook edition, although the specific date has not been announced.

The Other Log of Phileas Fogg - new edition & podcast!
The Titan Books edition of The Other Log of Phileas Fogg came out a few days ago, and here's what people are saying:
