It's Hornet Time!

I've been informed that the folks at Moonstone Books and the license holder have approved my proposal and synopsis for a short story to appear in volume one of Moonstone's Green Hornet anthologies.

My idea was inspired, at least in part, by this fantastic promo illo by Masked Avenger Studios' Ruben Procopio.

Cool!
I can't wait.
Does this Moonstone story feature any strong Farmer links like "Death and the Countess"?

Great! Is this the place we'll be seeing a certain butter-haired beauty making another appearance?

James B.: Thanks! I'm not sure how strong the ties will be to specific Farmer characters (thanks for noticing that in the Avenger tale!), but I do plan on a *major* Wold Newton link -- all without specifically naming it and without violating copyright, of course. :-)

For a tale with a huge Farmer-specific tie, check out my forthcoming "No Ghosts Need Apply" in THE PHANTOM CHRONICLES, VOLUME 2.

Ray: Thanks! I must need more coffee this morning... I am not picking up on the butter-haired beauty reference...

Thanks Frank. :-)

BTW, are you coming to FarmerCon IV next month in Peoria?

I believe Ray is referring to the beauteous Ellen Patrick.

Ah, I'm with you guys now... In a prior post I hinted at a possible forthcoming Domino Lady crossover.

Ray, it won't be with the Hornet; Moonstone is sticking with the '60s version of the Hornet, and while I'm sure Ellen would be hotter than ever in her mid-40s, I think the folks at Moonstone would prefer to keep her in her "proper" time-frame.

Stay tuned. :-)
