Green Hornet: Still at Large NOW AVAILABLE!

The Green Hornet: Still at Large is back from the printer and is now shipping direct from Moonstone Books! (I'm sure it will show up as "available" on Amazon soon.) 

NOTE: I am reliably informed by Moonstone that I will have copies available at PulpFest later this week. You can find me at the Meteor House table; I will also be doing a "New Fictioneers" session where I will be reading from my Green Hornet tale, "Progress."

Edited by Joe Gentile, Win Scott Eckert, and Matthew Baugh, this third anthology featuring the 1960s Green Hornet, based on the television program starring Van Williams and Bruce Lee, follows The Green Hornet Chronicles and The Green Hornet Casefiles, and ships in two editions. 

The softcover trade paperback features a cover by Douglas Klauba, while the limited edition hardcover boasts a cover by Ruben Procopio. It is anticipated that as with the prior books, the third volume will also see an eBook edition, although the specific date has not been announced.

FarmerCon VII / Pulpfest 2012

I've finalized my plans to be at FarmerCon VII  / Pulpfest 2012 in August. I'll be at the Meteor House table, where I'll have copies of the new Titan Books editions of Philip Jose Farmer's Wold Newton books The Other Log of Phileas Fogg and Time's Last Gift, as well as Lord Tyger. I imagine I'll also have news about more Farmer reissues from Titan (hint, hint). My friend Christopher Paul Carey will be there promoting Gods of Opar.

I'll also have copies of the recent Tales of the Shadowmen 8: Agents Provocateurs (Black Coat Press) and I imagine Moonstone Books' Sherlock Holmes: The Crossovers Casebook will be out by then, so I'll bring copies. Lots of Wold-Newtony goodness in my stories in those volumes.

I also have hopes that Moonstone's The Green Hornet: Still at Large, which I'm co-editing with Joe Gentile and Matthew Baugh, will be out by then, although that's not confirmed yet. If it's available, of course I'll have copies with me.

The Green Hornet: Still at Large - "Progress"

Just in time to conclude 2011, I finalized my contribution to Moonstone Books' The Green Hornet: Still at Large today. My story is called "Progress," and it's a Britt/Casey tale which also features the return, in an unexpected way, of a villain from The Hornet's past (hint: the villain appeared in my story "Fang and Sting" from 2010's The Green Hornet Chronicles).

The Green Hornet: Still at Large is edited by Joe Gentile, Win Scott Eckert, and Matthew Baugh, and is due out from Moonstone in 2012 (more details and a solicit coming soon), with gorgeous covers by Ruben Procopio and Doug Klauba.

Green Hornet - '60s TV series marathon on SyFy!

The 1960s series The Green Hornet--featuring the versions of The Hornet and Kato seen here on the cover of Moonstone's The Green Hornet Chronicles (plug, plug)--will run in its entirety on SyFy Channel, all 26 episodes, on Tuesday January 11 (8 am-9 pm Mountain Time, check your local listings).

My DVR is set. :-)

Yes, I have 'em all on video tape, tapes off of television long ago.

And yes, I've found 'em on the web in (--ahem--) various places. But I'm looking forward to watching these in HD--even if they might be edited for time.
