Casting Call : The Evil in Pemberley House

Brad Mengel is starting a neat little series of blog posts imagining the movie casts of his favorite books, and I'm honored he's started with The Evil in Pemberley House.

I am definitely down with his suggestions for Christina Hendricks as Patricia Wildman...

...and Monica Belluci as Patricia's mother, Adelaide Lupin...

... although I had originally envisioned Angelina Jolie for the role...

I'll put together my own cast suggestions soon. Thanks Brad!

Tales of the Shadowmen series - reviewed in French!

The entire Tales of the Shadowmen series of pulp crossover anthologies has been translated and packaged in French volumes, Les compagnons de l’Ombre.

A French reviewer has covered the seven (so far) volumes, here (I've taken the liberty of running this through Google translator).

Pretty cool!

My Wold Newton Origins story "Nadine's Invitation" ("
L'Invitation de Nadine") will appear in Les compagnons de l’Ombre (Tome 9).
